Plenty of people use English every day without knowing where they stand on the CEFR scale. Conversations go fine, but a long article takes real effort. What Changes at B2?
B2 is often described as upper-intermediate. That label sounds simple enough, but it does not tell you much about what using English at that level is like.

Writing gives you more time to think, but it can also expose problems that are easy to miss in conversation. You might use the same words too often, lose control of a sentence, or slip between tenses. At B2, the goal is not perfect writing. You should have enough control to explain an idea, support it, and keep the reader with you.

What Should You Do After the Test?
The useful part comes after you see the result.
A B2 Result
If you are around B2, try using English where you cannot rely on familiar subjects. Read something you would not normally choose. Talk about an unfamiliar topic. Write about an opinion instead of simply describing what happened.
Those situations can show you what still feels awkward.
A Lower Result
